BUILT BY SOMEONE WHO CARRIED THE NUMBER

A business and law degree, three acquisitions from the inside, two companies of his own, and many rooms.

Liron Kaplan has spent his career on the revenue side of the business, the side that carries a number and has to explain it. VP of Sales and Strategic Business Development at MIGVAN Technologies. International Sales Director at Variscite. Deal negotiations with Bosch, Philips Medical, HP, General Electric, Leica Biosystems, Swarovski, Mellanox, Bio-Sense and Precor.

At MIGVAN he helped plan and execute three mergers and acquisitions in three years, from inside the company doing the acquiring.

He then built two companies of his own, and now runs Apex Island.

GETTING THE MEETING HAS NEVER BEEN THE HARD PART

From October 2012 to January 2013, as a law student, Liron launched and hosted Students Ask, a YouTube interview series with no production company, no network and no budget behind it.

In the run-up to Israel's 2013 elections he sat down with three of the country's most senior political figures: Naftali Bennett, Yair Lapid and Tzipi Livni. Two of them would go on to become Prime Minister.

He was twenty-something with a camera and a question list. He just asked.

WHERE THE METHOD GETS TESTED

Liron works with startups in the Mamram accelerator, Quantum Innovation Center, Genesis and more. He has shared the same frameworks with local and global startup ecosystems: accelerators, hubs and founder programs. Early-stage teams are the hardest room to teach in. Nothing that does not work survives it.

BEFORE ANY OF IT

A professional basketball and handball player. Years of being coached, drilled and measured, long before anyone paid him to sell anything.

That is where the method comes from: process and performance, practiced until they hold under pressure. Sales teams do not rise to the occasion. They fall back on what they have rehearsed.
